Waiting is an energetic place. Sometimes it’s precisely what you need to do and be. Sometimes it’s a game you’re playing with yourself.

Waiting when it is aligned, and right is perfect and comfortable, infused with trust that you have followed all guidance and that the next thing, action, or person will arise and alight your next move, activity, project, inspiration, or form.

Let us now talk about and discuss the game you play with yourself called waiting. This is an inner state that does not feel good. It is often a piece of your protection mode based on fear. You might say, “I’m waiting for the time to be right. The answers to come to me. The other person to decide.” You stall out on any other inspired or guided actions.

Each encounter with waiting is a gift and an opportunity for you to travel deeper within yourself to discover, discern, and learn. Am I waiting because it is good, right, and perfect timing? Am I waiting because I am afraid, protecting myself, or allowing myself to remain stuck because I perceive that to be safer than my success?
